ISPM-15 Heat Treatment Services

What Is Heat Treatment?
Pallets that are made of wood must have their internal core temperature reach 133˚F for 30 consecutive minutes or be fumigated with Methyl Bromide. This is to meet the International Standard for Phytosanitary Measure No. 15 (ISPM 15) that is set by the IPPC. Heat treatment can also be used to make wooden pallets last longer and become more resistant to mold. Pallets and wooden products regardless of size or dimension must be treated before export.
